How To Cook Lamb Chops In An Air Fryer
This recipe is so simple and yet the results will impress your dinner guests because of how moist, juicy, tender and flavoursome the lamb chops turn out.
Ingredients
- 8 Lamb Chops
- 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon of Butter
- 2 tablespoons of chopped Fresh Rosemary
- 3 crushed Cloves of Garlic
- Salt & Pepper
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 190 C (375 F)
- Mix the olive oil, butter, garlic and rosemary in a large bowl
- Put each chop into the bowl and coat in the mixture
- Place the coated chops in the air fryer basket ensuring there is a space between each one
- Air fry for 5 minutes
- Turn the chops and cook for a further 5 to 7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches at least 63°C (146°F)
- Remove from the basket and allow to rest for 3 to 4 minutes
- Serve

- You can add Dijon mustard to the coating if you like as that will enhance the flavour
- All air fryers are different which means all cooking times are likely to vary
- It is important to ensure the internal temperature of the lamb reaches a minimum of 63 C (146 F) before serving
- Allowing the meat to rest before serving allows the juices to settle down and the fibres of the meat to relax
- To cut down on washing up, you can use baking paper or disposable paper liners in the air fryer basket before adding the lamb chops. However the paper should not be added to the basket until after preheating has taken place
- You might have to adjust cooking times depending on the size and thickness of your lamb chops
- Cooking times will need adjusting depending on how rare or well done you prefer your lamb
