It also shows that the manufacturer has put thought into what accessories are necessary for a great cooking experience.

The Rotisserie

HYSapientia XXL Air Fryer Rotisserie

I want to take a moment to draw attention to the rotisserie. Because although I’m yet to use it, I was VERY impressed by the fact that it came with the appliance without me having to buy it as an optional extra like you usually do with these sort of products.

What It Can Do

The HYSapientia XXL Air Fryer is an incredibly versatile appliance that can do so much more than just air fry food.

With its 24L cooking capacity and ten cooking modes – this appliance offers a wide range of cooking options that’ll be able to cook almost any meal you can think of.

As well as air frying, this also does a great job for: baking, roasting, grilling, dehydrating and even toasting (more on that later).

You can cook:

  • Chicken
  • Fish
  • Steak
  • Sausages
  • Pizza
  • Toast
  • Potatoes
  • Chips
  • Pork/lamb chops
  • Cakes and muffins
  • Barbecue food
  • Fish sticks
  • Burgers
  • and more (with ease!)

The appliance comes equipped with a range of preset cooking modes (more on that later) that make cooking your favourite meals effortless.

One of the standout features of this appliance is its convection technology that ensures fast and even heat distribution.

The 360-degree hot air circulation and double tube uniform heating provide a greater volume of air, which ensures that your food is cooked evenly and quickly. Plus, the two levels of convection speeds allow natural convection to circulate air – which is said to provide better flavour in your food.

I can’t personally say I noticed the food tasted any different, however it certainly wasn’t worse – which is GREAT considering how fast it can cook it.

What It’s Like to Cook With It

Cooking Fried Chicken Inside The HySapientia Air Fryer Oven

One of the best things about cooking with the HYSapientia Air Fryer Oven is how many different things it can do. It’s got 10 different cooking modes, which means you can easily make anything from chips/roast potatoes to rotisserie chicken (though I’m yet to try that).

The options are endless and it’s making me think about getting a bit more creative with my cooking.

I love the convenience of being able to cook multiple items at once with the oven’s spacious interior and multiple shelves.

This is different from what you get with the smaller air fryers which mean you have to cook in steps, or use multiple appliances.

It’s perfect for cooking for a whole family or just one person as you can easily fit in a whole meal at once. And what’s more, the LED lights and glass door (with light) allow me to monitor my food’s progress without having to open the oven and let the heat out.

What It’s Like To Clean It

Cleaning up after cooking is never the most enjoyable task, but I have to say that cleaning the HYSapientia XXL Air Fryer isn’t too much of a pain.

The oven is quite easy to wipe down. And I also appreciate that it comes with a crumb tray that can be removed and washed separately.

The accessories are also easy to clean:

The air fryer basket and rotisserie skewers can be washed in the sink or put in the dishwasher. And the baking tray and oven rack can also be washed in the sink/dishwasher.

Is It Expensive To Run?

Being a large air fryer that’s capable of cooking an entire meal in one go, you’d expect the energy usage to be quite high on a model like this.

However it’s actually incredibly efficient when you take into account it’s 24 litre capacity.

Based on the current standard tariff in the UK of 33.2p/kWh, this air fryer costs around 15 pence to run for 15 minutes.

If you compare that to the longer cooking times associated with a regular oven, and take into account the amount you can fit in here – it’s a very efficient way to cook dinner.

How Big Is It?

HySapientia 24 litre Air Fryer Oven XXL dimensions

One concern you may have is the actual size of the appliance. We know it’s 24 litres, but how much space is that going to take up on your kitchen worktop?

Well it turns out the actual dimensions of the product are 40.5D x 41W x 37H (cm).

So it’s certainly not your typical tiny little air fryer – this is a big boy that’s ready for some serious cooking!

What About The Price? Is It Worth It?

The HYSapientia 24L Air Fryer Oven XXL is priced in the mid-range of air fryers/mini ovens on the market. It’s not the cheapest option, but it’s also not the most expensive considering the quality.

For the amount of value it offers, I believe it’s definitely worth the investment.

With its large capacity, multiple cooking modes, and ease of use – this appliance can easily replace several kitchen appliances and save you both time and money in the long run.

While the price may seem steep at first glance (especially if you were only considering buying a small cheap air fryer) – It’s definitely a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to make cooking their meals quicker and easier.

Let’s Do Some Cooking With The HYSapientia XXL Air Fryer

Now we’re going to put the air fryer to the test, cooking some simple items and seeing how it gets on.

Cooking Toast In The HYSapientia 24L Air Fryer Oven

Using the standard toast setting, I was able to toast this piece of frozen bread in 5 minutes, which is actually quicker than I can toast bread in my toaster!

If you don’t freeze your bread (like a normal person!), you might want to reduce the time to 4 minutes or reduce the temperature if you don’t want your toast too toasted.

Cooking Sausages In The HYSapientia XXL Air Fryer Oven

Here I cooked some of Tesco’s chicken sausages (worth getting a pack if you haven’t tried them).

I set the air fryer to 220C for 14 minutes and they came out perfectly done.

I didn’t use any oil so this might be one of the healthiest ways of cooking sausages.

Cleaning the tray after cooking wasn’t any harder than cleaning a regular oven tray, however as a lazy person I do think I’ll be putting a piece of tin foil on the baking tray next time so it doesn’t take me much time to clean up the residue that’s come out of the chicken.
