What Other Seasoning Options Do We Recommend?

One of the best things about cooking homemade chips in an air fryer is the versatility when it comes to seasoning. You don’t have this done for you like you do with some shop bought oven chips, and so you can really control what you eat.

While the previous recipes used just salt, you can get creative and add various seasonings to elevate the taste of your chips. Here are some seasoning options you can try:

  • Garlic and Herb
Toss the dry, pre-soaked potatoes with a blend of garlic powder, dried thyme, rosemary, and parsley for a flavorful herb-infused taste!
  • Paprika & Smoked Paprika
Add a smoky and slightly spicy kick to your chips by seasoning them with a mix of paprika and smoked paprika.
  • Cajun Spice
For a Southern-inspired twist, coat the chips with a Cajun seasoning mix, combining spices like cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Parmesan & Herbs
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and your favorite herbs like oregano or basil over the chips for a cheesy and aromatic flavor.
  • Chili Lime
Create a zesty and tangy taste by drizzling lime juice over the cooked chips and adding a pinch of chili powder.
  • Barbecue Seasoning
Mix a barbecue seasoning blend over the chips to bring that classic smoky BBQ flavor to your homemade chips.
